Welcome to episode 4 on Season 7 of And Such Is Life Podcast! I’m your host, Jakyra McLeod, and this is a space where we have honest conversations about navigating LIFE through faith, God’s Word, and community. Sometimes moving forward means letting go of relationships that are no longer healthy, closing doors that kept you bound, changing your circle, and trusting God with an unfamiliar future. Moving forward is about doing something with what God has placed in front of you. This conversation will challenge you to stop romanticizing what God delivered you from, fix your gaze on Him, and keep moving toward what He has called you to do. Rejection is Redirection (But It Still Hurts)

We hear it all the time — “Rejection is redirection.” And while that may be true, let’s be honest… Rejection still hurts. Whether it’s rejection from a relationship, career, opportunity, dream, or simply a room you thought you belonged in, rejection can affect the way we see ourselves, our future, and even what we believe God is doing in our lives.
