Episode thirteen, although related to episode twelve, is not about “being offended”. It is about being the offense: rubbing people the wrong way, making others uncomfortable, and feeling unwelcome, all without knowing why (and not for a lack of inquiry or desire to understand).

This experience underlies the move toward anti-socialness.
