Rooted in Leviticus 23 and echoed in Psalm 81, this celebration called God's people to confess what He had done, confront their tendency to stop listening, and respond with genuine worship. The psalm moves through three movements: a confession of God's saving acts, a concern about why His people refuse to truly listen, and a call to come and worship together.
