Does it matter if I skip a meal? Is there a problem with eating late at night?

There is a lot of noise out there, so much so that we get bombarded with a host of opinions and recommendations, most of which have less than adequate strength of support. Let's take a few minutes and discuss if we need to be concerned about either if we are trying to limit gaining weight or potentially lose weight.
