Hi All–
Welcome to the first episode of routinely random! We are your free spirited comrades, Abi and Yassine, who are good friends that are interested in using our random conversations and routined experiences of life to better understand the world and ourselves. We are so excited to be starting this journey with you all and we hope you will join us.
In today’s conversation, we talk about the ancient Greek concept of eros: or desire in its truest form. More specifically, we take a deep dive into the desire to create or be something, and how wrapped into this desire there is a delicate balance of delusion and reality. For example, if you want to create something new, you need to firstly believe that you can bring this thing into life despite the thinnest odds that it will happen. At the same time, you need to stay grounded to the reality of the present. Meaning, yes, you can beat the odds and truly believe in your wildest ‘delusions’ but you need to take the steps each day to increase your percentage.
If this topic interests you, please listen in, we are confident that you will gain a new perspective on the formula of ambition.
