Showing Up Like Jesus | The Power of Presence in a Disconnected World | Dr. Web Drake

Join Web Drake, Dean of the College of Communication & Fine Arts at North Greenville University, as he explores John 1 and the incarnation of Jesus Christ. This message challenges us to follow Christ’s example—not just by celebrating His arrival, but by being present in the lives of others.

🔍 Key Takeaways from This Message:

✔️ Jesus Showed Up – He crossed time and space to dwell among us (John 1:14)

✔️ We Are Called to Show Up – As the body of Christ, we are to be incarnate in people’s lives

✔️ Be Present in Celebration – Like Jesus at the wedding in Cana, we should rejoice with others

✔️ Be Present in Mourning – Jesus wept with Mary and Martha before raising Lazarus (John 11:35)

✔️ Be Present in the Work – Jesus touched the untouchable, ministering through real presence

✔️ Incarnational Communication Matters – Texts, calls, and posts are great, but showing up in person changes lives

🔥 We are the hands and feet of Christ. Are we truly showing up for those who need us?
