We took a week off last week to watch the Milwaukee Brewers break our hearts again, but we are back with the latest happenings around Wisconsin. Eric and Dylan are here this week, and start off with giving a big noogie to new baseball villain, Jesse Winker of the New York Mets. We also have a noogie for the FX American Sports Story series based on Aaron Hernandez, which does feature a Wisconsin native cast as Tom Brady. Then we get into Wisconsin sports, breaking down another Brewers playoff heartbreak. Next a quick look at the Wisconsin Badgers, after they get their first Big Ten win of the season in dominant fashion. The Packers are also back in the win column after a big win out west against the Rams. Another week, another episode of The Root For Wisconsin Show! Eric and Dylan break down the latest in Wisconsin news and sports. Dylan is back after a couple weeks, and Eric starts out fired up about the Timber Rattlers who are one game away from winning the 2024 Midwest League Championship! Then we give a couple noogies to Packers rivals. Our Wisconsin Web Story of the Week deals with a turkey attacking a state trooper's squad car. Then, we take a look at the Brewers, who are close to another NL Central title, and talk about this golden age of Milwaukee baseball. After that, the Badgers got crushed by Alabama this weekend, to no one's surprise, but Eric and Dylan have an idea on how to fix UW. Last, the Packers got a win without Jordan Love, and we break that down and look at how the team can do it against Tennessee if Love cannot go. This and much more in Episode 159!

Well, it was a bit of a bummer in Wisconsin sports this last week, and Eric, Sean, and Shawna have you covered on the latest in news and sports around the state. The episode starts with Eric and Sean criticizing some terrible uniforms around the NFL and the TV dispute between DirecTV and ESPN. Then in our Wisconsin Web Story of the Week, we take a look at an 1860 inspired baseball league in Milwaukee and the NFL draft theme corn mazes around Wisconsin.
