This week, for episode 9 I am joined by Anuj Jain, from BirdLife International Asia currently in Singapore who talks with us about the fight against the illegal bird trade not just in his country but across wider Asia.

Anuj details just how widespread and difficult addressing private bird ownership has become in places like Java, how Birdlife identify and map trade roots before taking action, policy enforcement challenges, the dreadful impact of declining species on ecosystems, but also, he gives us some reasons to be hopeful about the future.
