Studying 1 Corinthians 12, we discuss the connection between the Trinity and the Bride of Christ from the perspective that connection is built into our design. Both the Old Testament and New were written long before the function of the Central Nervous System was common knowledge.

Applying an updated understanding of neurobiology to the analogy that Christ is what binds all of humanity together, we explore this idea that he is more like the nervous system than the organ of the heart. This model has the potential to make sense of Scriptural interpretation.
