Primary Scripture: 1 Peter 2:1–3

In Episode 13 of Rod Talks, Pastor Rodney explores 1 Peter 2:1–3, centering on the theme “Rid and Crave.” He challenges believers to actively strip away traits like malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander to make room for spiritual growth.

Pastor Rodney emphasizes that personal holiness requires intentional accountability and a deep hunger for scripture. Using Psalm 119 and a humorous video of a baby discovering food, he illustrates how Christians should fiercely crave God’s pure Word. Ultimately, engaging deeply with scripture fuels spiritual transformation, enabling believers to grow in Christ and experience God's goodness.
