Primary Scripture: 1 Peter 1:13-16

In this episode of Rod Talks, Pastor Rodney continues exploring First Peter, focusing on Chapter 1:13–16. Addressing believers facing persecution and exile, he highlights Peter’s command: "Be holy because I am holy."

Pastor Rodney navigates the tension between "cheap grace" and "oppressive legalism." He emphasizes that while salvation is freely given by grace and not earned through works, believers are called to active, clear-headed obedience as God's children. Ultimately, true holiness is not a rigid obligation or religious routine, but a journey driven by a genuine love relationship and a deep desire to know God's heart.
