The Story Behind “Delete Offense”- Interview With Dr. Candice Smithyman

When you delete something, you remove it. When you delete an offense, you terminate the negative emotions that come with it. When people are offended, they often feel hurt or angry. They may also feel like they’re the victim of someone else’s actions or words and that this person should apologize for causing them pain. But when we take offense at others, we let them have power over us, and that’s not good. In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Gershom Sikaala, a Hollywood Celebrity, Mentor, and Prince. He was born in Zambia, Southern Africa, and is a businessman, humanitarian, author, speaker, television host, media personality, Pastor to the stars, and global goodwill peace ambassador. Dr. Gershon talks about the story behind his new book: Delete offense, how we can live without offense, the best strategies to delete offense, and how the Holy Spirit helps us heal from offenses. #1 Amazon Bestseller “Delete Offense” Chapter 1

In the last few years, there's been a lot of talk about how our society is becoming more "offense-oriented" than ever before. We've seen a rise in hate crimes, online bullying, and general incivility. While it can be hard to pinpoint exactly why this is happening, one thing is clear: we need to learn to be more kind and more loving toward each other. Our new episode on offense will take you on a journey of spiritual healing through the love of God to restore all your relationships. It's time to let go of what has hurt you and choose instead to forgive those who have offended you. When we do this, we free ourselves from bitterness and anger so we can live freely in Christ's love. We also eliminate anxiety in relationships and improve communication. You no longer have to defend yourself or fight back. You can simply focus on what is essential: solving problems, moving forward together, and enjoying each other's company. Tune in to learn more!
