Resolution is For Your Vision

Reduce! Reducing is the beginning of finding the resolution you are searching for. For many people, resolutions are the actual “solution” to that giant problem, and that is true in part, but that is not what resolution means entirely. The word “resolution” comes from the Old French word resolucioun—which means to break down into smaller simpler parts. The term was used for complex mathematical problems that were large in its expression. Once the problems were reduced into smaller, simpler parts, it was easier to work on them. Like complex math problems, there are some problems we have in life that have a lot of factors contributing to the difficulty. When it comes to our problems, there is a team of factors that we are fighting against, but quick question: Would you rather fight a person and get surprised by three other people joining in to gang up against you, or would you rather fight one person at a time? The resolution allows you to tackle big problems without getting surprised by other unaccounted factors because you can pre-strategize and see what will lift you or trip you up!
