Never Stop Growing

From "Stay at the Top of Your Game" and "Increasing Your Skill Set and Thinking": the day you stop learning is the day you start declining, and coasting is declining with better scenery. Across thirty years Samuel kept learning — certifications, the lost-credentials lesson in New York, communication as a weapon, crisis leadership in 2020, and becoming a humble beginner again in publishing — upgrading his thinking, not just his skills. 2 Timothy 2:15 and Proverbs 9:9 anchor it ("the fool is full, the wise man is hungry"), with four habits: learn from every mistake by asking "what is the tuition," invest in training like equipment, stay teachable (especially to younger people), and teach what you learn.
