Join Joe McDonald as he reads from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, diving into Step 2 AA and exploring the moments when we experience consciousness and intuition in times of imminent danger or athletic perfection. Reflecting on these profound experiences, Joe emphasizes the importance of recognizing our intuitive selves.

In this session, Joe discusses how time seems to slow down during critical moments, allowing us to experience our consciousness. “Car wreck, gunfight, whatever is going on. Did you notice at the time of imminent danger, time seemed to slow down for you? Some of you are feeling that. When that happened, you experienced your consciousness because time doesn’t slow down, but the author of time slows down events, and we experience consciousness in those moments. Does that make sense?”
