The Good Samaritan wasn’t supposed to help at all, but he couldn’t walk by a brother or neighbor lying beaten and bloodied. He picked him up, bandaged him, put him on his own animal, took him to an inn, and paid his rent. He said, “I’ll be back in a few days, and I’ll clear up for him.” We may have to do that every day if need be.
