Today, we're looking at multiple attorneys—when a Power of Attorney appoints more than one person to act for the principal, and why the structure of that appointment matters.

A POA doesn't have to appoint just one attorney. It can appoint two, three, or more. This is common in family, business, and property matters. The important question is whether those attorneys must act together or whether each can act independently.
