As we move into the second part of the series reflecting on Yorkville UMC's mission of "Sharing God's Love," the sermon is divided into two parts:
- Part One digs deeper into agape love, reflecting on its meaning from the Bible as well as from a Wesleyan perspective. We'll continue our exploration of love as an action, not just a feeling.
- Part Two will look at the times in which love might be difficult to demonstrate because it requires us to confront a brother or sister in Christ.
Scripture readings to look at in advance are 1 Corinthians 13 and 2 Peter 4:1-8.
