EPISODE 18: "The Cookout"
Notas del episodio
Welcome world welcome to Episode 18 of the Out of Character Podcast.
Our host @BC__TV starts the show with the last and final update of his friend who attempted the 90-day rule and failed miserably! BC tells you what happened after his friend's EXPENSIVE date in New York City... was there a date number two?? Is love in there air??? We get into it!
We move on to a story that went crazy in sports... Kevin Durant vs Michael Rappaport.
BC breaks the story down from start to finish and explains why we have to be careful who we allow in our culture. Not everyone is raised the same way as you, so when folks show their a** you should not be surprised!
That turns into a conversation about WHITE BOY SUMMER (doesn't that just look gross) and why it's not even funny to joke about something like that... especially when it comes from the son of Forest Gump.
We take a moment to shoutout a LEGEND in DMX. God rest his soul and prayers for all of his loved ones. We will miss you X!
Then to our OUT OF CHARACTER MOMENT OF THE WEEK we play the press conference audio from University of North Carolina's new head coach Hubert Davis... the FIRST EVER BLACK HEAD COACH for UNC... which is beautiful... BUT... his press conference was not...
There's also a 1B winner of the OOC moment of the week... future NFL Hall of Famer Brandon Marshall went viral for a HOT TAKE he made on his I Am Athlete Podcast.
And you know we are all about supporting black businesses at OOC! We interview an up and coming author who has made a brand and a book that will be releasing soon!
