Bung us a cuppa !!! www.ko-fi.com/ourtownhasplenty Hey hey, we’re back again! Week ELEVEN, who’d a thunk it?! Lots in the line-up including… flex your theatrical muscles at Acting for Change, a reminder that the 4th annual Hastings Rocks Film Festival takes place this weekend, Forest Fun on Fridays for 0-5s courtesy of EFT, new studio available in the America Ground, Alex Ainsworth makes fab posters, and Anna Locke and the Town Grown team bring Edible Open Gardens back in June. Patsy gives a fabbo review of Mykki Blanco’s electrifying show courtesy of Dan Demarre and Mike’s List, more Secret Shows to come… we hope!! Caf misunderstood the Kayak for Kelp deal… oops. SUPPORT The Kelp Project by sponsoring them to do an epic 45m kayaking challenge from Camber Sands to Saltdean – dedicated to transforming the 4.5 miles of unspoiled, cliff-fronted shingle beach from Hastings to Pett Level into a thriving sanctuary for wildlife and a natural carbon-sequestering forest. Caf celebrates Bob Mazzer’s photography, reports back on a conversation with Richard De Pesando, and brings our attention to Silverhill Press. Trigger warning – animal cruelty mentioned when she discusses Kim Stallwood’s latest project, Topsy The Elephant. Tarot from Martin Knapp, Hypnotherapy from Graham Smith and the Conservation Volunteers get shouts from Patsy, along with The Velvet Rays. Not forgetting Lucy & Friends – Giddy Up Festival, Holy Mackerel – deliciousness, and shouts from Jamie for Me U HQ and Let’s Get It Together Festival. A plethora of delights, along with the usual fluff and nonsense. All love Caf, Patsy & Jamie

Love for Breakfast Zone, Arts on Prescription, The Hero’s Journey, Hastings Adventure Playground, Hastings History House and Old Town Walks. Tip-off from Mike Willis about a Secret Show with Mykki Blanco and a new sewing café arrives courtesy of Ness Newman. Kids activities for Easter-ish… thanks to Benbow Arts, Hastings Museum & Art Gallery, A Town Explores A Book and a couple of the aforementioned. Don’t miss Claire Ratinon in conversation on 12 April, pop in and see Elvis in the building at Dayglo Studios, shout out for Coffin Club… more anon – heads-up about the Good Future Event this weekend and why not enter the Hastings Book Festival competition?
