UNSTOPPABLE LIFE - Part 6: Resurrection Lives on Display
SERMON SERIES SYNOPSIS: "Unstoppable Life: The Death of Death" is a resurrection-centered series built around 2 Timothy 1:10, which declares that Jesus Christ "destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." This series explores how the victory of Jesus over the grave is not only a future promise but a present power — freeing us from fear, shame, and spiritual paralysis. From the road to the cross through the empty tomb and into everyday living, we'll see how Christ's resurrection rewrites our story, reshapes our courage, and releases us to live with bold, unshakable hope. Because death has been defeated, believers are called to live a life that cannot be stopped. SERMON SUMMARY: Resurrection life isn't meant to stay a doctrine we believe, it's meant to become a life we show. In this special message, two of our elders from North Webster Community Church will share their personal resurrection stories of how Jesus met them, changed them, and continues to shape their daily decisions, relationships, priorities, and purpose. Mark Battig's and Dale Davis' testimonies put living proof on the truth that Christ still brings life out of what was once dead. This week is about seeing the gospel in motion and being reminded that the risen Jesus doesn't just save us for eternity, He transforms how we live today. — For a deeper study of God's Word, plus daily resources for your walk with Jesus, visit https://app.rightnowmedia.org/en/join/nwcog. — With North Webster Community Church Online, you can join us every Sunday live at 9:30a, and our gatherings are available on-demand! The Apostle Paul tells Timothy to hold tight to sound truth and guard the faith by the Spirit's power. Jesus beat death, so His message is worth defending with clear belief, consistent living, and humble, bold words. SERMON TEXT: 2 Timothy 1:13-14 THE MAIN IDEA: The life-giving gospel is a treasure worth guarding and a truth worth defending. LIFE APPLICATION: Strengthen your defense of the faith this week! HOME: DOING LIFE TOGETHER - Part 4: Forgiveness Lives Here
SERMON SERIES SYNOPSIS: Home is more than a place — it's a commitment. In a world where schedules are full and relationships are stretched thin, God calls us to build homes marked by intentional faith, deep connection, and spiritual leadership. This series challenges us to establish Christ as the center of our homes, to lead with conviction, and to shape the next generation through prayer, blessing, and example. Because what happens in our homes shapes what happens in the world. SERMON SUMMARY: Every home will experience hurt but what sets a Christ-centered home apart is how it handles it. When Peter asks Jesus how many times we should forgive, Jesus shatters the limits and tells a story that exposes just how much we’ve been forgiven. Ephesians 4 brings it home: bitterness, rage, and resentment don’t belong under this roof, rather kindness, compassion, and forgiveness do. Forgiveness isn’t pretending it didn’t happen, and it’s not easy! In this talk, Pastor Jeff Boyer unpacks what forgiveness really is, what it isn’t, and how to actually live it out in the everyday moments of family life. If we’ve been forgiven much, then forgiveness should live here. UNSTOPPABLE LIFE - Part 4: Confidence in a Risen Christ
SERMON SERIES SYNOPSIS: "Unstoppable Life: The Death of Death" is a resurrection-centered series built around 2 Timothy 1:10, which declares that Jesus Christ "destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." Because death has been defeated, believers are called to live a life that cannot be stopped. SERMON SUMMARY: Because Jesus defeated death, believers no longer live timid or hidden lives. The Apostle Paul urges Timothy not to be ashamed of the gospel or of suffering for it. Resurrection truth produces resurrection courage. When you know death is defeated, witness becomes bold and obedience becomes steady. SERMON TEXT: 2 Timothy 1:8-12 THE MAIN IDEA: A defeated grave produces a fearless witness. LIFE APPLICATION: Identify one place you've stayed silent about your faith. LIVING SACRIFICE, PT. 1 - Part 4: Uncommon (Re)Actions
SERMON SERIES SYNOPSIS: What if worship wasn’t an event — but a way of life? In "Living Sacrifice, Pt. 1," Romans 12 shows how God’s grace reshapes the way we think, serve, love, and respond to the world around us. Faith was never meant to be private or theoretical. Our faith is be lived out — loudly, visibly, and daily. Through this four-week series, we will be challenged to move past talk and step into a faith that costs something and changes everything. SERMON SUMMARY: In a culture where quick reactions, public outrage, and personal revenge are normal, Paul calls believers to respond in uncommon ways. In Romans 12:14-21, Paul challenges us to replace natural reactions with spiritual responses, blessing instead of cursing, peace instead of pride, and grace instead of retaliation. In this message, we're reminded that a living sacrifice doesn't let emotions, offenses, or hurt dictate behavior. Instead, believers trust God with justice and choose to reflect Christ in every conflict, criticism, and difficult relationship. When Christians respond differently, the gospel becomes visible. SERMON TEXT: Romans 12:14-21 THE MAIN IDEA: A living sacrifice replaces natural reactions with Christlike responses that reflect trust in God and love for others. LIFE APPLICATION: Identify one situation where you are tempted to react emotionally or defensively, and intentionally choose and uncommon response to pray first, speak graciously, and act in love instead of anger. — For a deeper study of God's Word, plus daily resources for your walk with Jesus, visit https://app.rightnowmedia.org/en/join/nwcog. — With North Webster Community Church Online, you can join us every Sunday live at 9:30a, and our gatherings are available on-demand! HOME: DOING LIFE TOGETHER - Part 3: When Home Isn't So Sweet
SERMON SUMMARY: Home was designed to be a place of peace, but sin turned it into a place of pain. In Genesis 3, we see the first fracture — blame, shame, and hiding enter the human story, and they didn't stay in the garden; they moved into every home. By the time we get to 2 Samuel 18, David's household is unraveling: rebellion, betrayal, and heartbreak between father and son. The truth is hard but honest: nobody can wound us like family. Yet even in the wreckage, God is not absent. In this talk, Pastor Jeff Boyer confronts the reality of family pain while pointing to the hope that God meets us in it, heals what's broken, and can rewrite the story of our homes. Your home may not feel sweet right now but it's not beyond redemption. The Apostle Paul says Jesus destroyed death and brought life and immortality into the light. Easter declares that death's authority has been broken and its future reversed. The empty tomb is not only proof of life after death — it is power for life before death. SERMON TEXT: 2 Timothy 1:10, Hebrews 2:14-15 THE MAIN IDEA: Jesus didn't just survive death; He conquered it and broke its power. LIFE APPLICATION: Live like the resurrection is true this week!
