Dayan Nessah is bringing his international experience to the college game, arriving in the United States as one of Europe’s top prospects, ranked 12th in the continent. Representing Switzerland on the international stage, Nessah continued to make a name for himself at the 2025 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, where he earned Second Team All-Tournament honors after averaging 17.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. His combination of size, versatility, and international experience has made him an intriguing talent as he continues his development in college basketball.
Nessah’s college career has already taken him through two different programs, beginning at George Washington, where he saw limited playing time as a freshman. He then transferred to Cleveland State and made a significant leap in his sophomore season, averaging 15.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. His breakout year earned him Third Team All-Horizon League honors and established him as one of the conference’s standout players.
Now, Nessah is set for his next chapter at Loyola Chicago, returning to the Atlantic 10 after beginning his college career at George Washington. At 6-foot-8, his ability to impact the game as a scorer, rebounder, and playmaker gives the Ramblers a versatile addition with experience across multiple levels of competition. As he continues to build on his rapid development, Nessah will have another opportunity to showcase his game in the A-10.
