CHAPTER ONE- “THE LIFE I LIVED”

The black Tahoe wasn’t watching Home Base. It was watching Parish.

In Chapter One, “The Life I Lived,” Parish has finally built the kind of peace he never thought he would have. Home Base is more than a car wash. It is a safe place where young men learn discipline, responsibility, and how to become better than their circumstances.

But peace can make a man ignore the warning signs.

A mysterious vehicle. An unfamiliar face. A hidden camera. Then Parish receives a photograph that confirms his worst fear: someone from his past has found him.

Now the life he built, the people he loves, and the man he worked hard to become may all be in danger.
