Getting Tipsy with... Tarot Card Readings, No Kings Day #2, and Love is Blind
Notas del episodio
On this week’s episode, we discuss everything from witchy nights to government chaos. Since we last cheers’d, Danielle recaps visiting Apple Hill, hosting a pumpkin painting party, and spending a magical evening of spells and card readings — which leads right into a virtual Tarot reading for Dami.
In What The Fuck Trump News: the government shutdown drags on, No Kings Day #2 expected to draw an even bigger crowd, Trump tries to reel people in with Ozempic, and California’s very own Daddy Newsom announces $11 insulin for all starting January. Meanwhile, JD Vance excuses horrific Republican group leaked messages, and we talk about ICE’s horrifying behavior.
In Other News: the First Amendment is literally packing up and leaving the Pentagon. But in Good News We’re Sippin’, one man thrifts all year to give kids free Halloween costumes, and a group of South Bay teens turn coffee waste into garden gold.
Lastly, Danielle is in the middle of a Stranger Things rewatch but, at the demand of Dami, also attempted to give Persuasion a try (hard pass) and rounds out spooky season with Urban Legend, The Woman in Cabin 10, and The Craft. Dami deep dives into Love Is Blind and The Pitt.
