Today's society is more connected than ever, and yet many of us feel profoundly alone. Our culture is increasingly mediated by devices, fear, and social fragmentation, and mega-corporations are profiting off it. In this episode, we discuss how social isolation affects not only individual mental and physical health, but also the health of our communities. When this disconnection erodes trust, it becomes much harder for us to work collectively to face the challenges ahead, whether that means surviving climate disasters, strengthening our communities, or building the foundations of New Earth.
