Folks, if you looked out your window this morning and thought you were dreaming.. You weren't. Over seven inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours. And it's not done yet.
The city is getting hammered. Heavy snow and blowing snow keep pounding through 6 P.M. Snowfall rates peak around 11 A.M. We're talking another 10 to 14 inches on top of what's already down. North winds are screaming at 23 to 33 miles an hour. Gusts to 48 miles an hour. That's whiteout territory. You'll hit a high near 35 degrees around 4 P.M., but wind chills make it feel like 14. Tonight, a slight chance of light snow before 7 P.M. Lows settle near 25 degrees.
