In the next 24 hours. This afternoon, we've got a temperature split worth noting. Down in Lincoln, you'll hit 65 degrees with breezy south winds gusting to 21 miles an hour. Omaha tops out at 63. But head out west to the Panhandle and you're looking at 70 degrees under partly sunny skies. That's the calm before the storm. Tonight after 9 P.M., rain and thunderstorms roll into eastern Nebraska. A few storms could drop small hail overnight, especially along and east of Highway 183. Rain peaks around 6 A.M.
