Teaser #2 Will You Roll With Me? 💕 | A Narrative Damage Dating Show Special.

Trailer
Explícito
Welcome to the hottest dating show of the ’90s… except nobody’s dating and somehow we ended up talking about TTRPGs. Meet your hosts: Nella, a fun-loving Aquarius with a weakness for fictional characters, questionable dice decisions, and emotional damage she absolutely brought upon herself—and Lucio, a mysterious Scorpio who has also made the terrible decision to turn his TTRPG opinions into a podcast. In this special Narrative Damage teaser, we’re introducing ourselves the only reasonable way: like contestants on a wildly dramatic ’90s dating show. Bad rolls. Character trauma. Unnecessary attachment to NPCs. And two hosts who definitely have opinions. Welcome to Narrative Damage—a TTRPG podcast about the games we play, the characters we love, and all the emotional damage we collect along the way.

Prompt: The Monster I Love Featured Character: Fae World: Vampire: The Masquerade For Day Three of the Month of Darkness Challenge, Nella returns to the past of one of her Vampire: The Masquerade characters: Fae. Long before London, Fae lived beneath the watchful eye of her sire, Lucien Devereux, a Toreador elder who could be impossibly gentle with his favorite creation and utterly monstrous to anyone he believed had wronged her. Tonight begins like so many nights in the Devereux household: classical music, charcoal against paper, Sebastian nearby, and Lucien’s hand gently stroking through Fae’s hair. Then someone from the previous night’s Elysium arrives at their door. Someone who had cornered Fae when she was alone. Fae knows exactly what Lucien is. Because sometimes the monster you should fear most... is the monster you love.

#MonthOfDarkness Day 7: What Keeps You Here?

Bonus
Explícito
Prompt: What Keeps You Here? Featured Character: Fae World: Vampire: The Masquerade For Day Seven of the Month of Darkness Challenge, Nella returns to the story of Fae, her French-Caribbean Toreador whose relationship with her sire, Lucien Devereux, has shaped nearly a century of her existence. Before Lucien Embraced her, Fae spent nineteen years as his ghoul. He has been her protector, her lover, her sire, and the center of a Blood Bond that makes separating love from devotion, possession, and supernatural compulsion almost impossible. But Damien, Fae’s own ghoul, sees their relationship from the outside. After witnessing another one of Lucien’s rages, Damien holds Fae as she retreats to the safety of her studio. This time, he finally asks the question neither of them can ignore anymore: What keeps you here? For one brief moment, Fae allows herself to consider the answer. She considers the fear. The pain. The decades spent returning to Lucien no matter what happens between them. She even considers what leaving might mean. Then there’s a knock at the door. And Lucien smiles at her. Because sometimes knowing you’re trapped isn’t the same thing as being able to leave. And sometimes the person hurting you is still the person you desperately want to run home to.
