#WizardTeam: A Black Fantasy Podcast
In this bonus episode, Robyn hosts Fantasy: More Than An Escape, a Black Magical History Month conversation with special guests Dr. Moiya McTier, Dr. Ravynn K. Stringfield, and Bezi Yohannes. This conversation was originally hosted on Twitter Spaces.
Many people come to fantasy for the escape—to explore new worlds, magical circumstances, and problems that seem far away from our own. But fantasy is not only a portal but a mirror, showing us the truth of our own world and providing perspectives on how to navigate issues in our own lives and systems. Join us on Twitter Spaces as we discuss our favorite fantasy stories, how creating new worlds can shed light on our own, and how important—and fun—that can be!
