IT'S OUT 50TH!!! Thank YOU all so much for tuning in every week and helping to grow our little podcast. We truly appreciate each and every single one of you. We are honored this week to sit down with one of our most favorite directors out there today- Mr. Sam Curtain. Sam brought a few of our favorite cast members form him movies - Dean Kirkright, Thomas Roach, and co-creative Benjamin (Benny) Jung-Clarke to talk about all of their projects that we have reviewed on this show: Blood Hunt, Slaughterhouse Killer, and Beaten to Death. We had an awesome time with all of these amazing creators and can't wait for you to experience them for yourselves.
This week we sit down with musician, writer, director, doer of all things, Chris Shern @shernchris to talk about his young budding movie career, going form an awesome musical background to making horror movies like Evil Lurks and his newest project Vic Effects. Vic Effects is currently in production and should be out later this year. Chris is a talented family man with some great projects in the works. Make sure to follow Chris and his production company Kissing Kastles @kissingkastlesproductions for updates on all of them. Shout out to @danmichaeljedrejczyk for putting this together for us!
50 Years Later - we sat down with Allen Danziger from Tobe Hooper's original 1974 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to talk about the making of the film, how he landed the roll of Jerry the van driver, and what's been happening the last 50 years.
DAMN this is a long one but it's totally fucking worth it. Shout out to Weirdo Darly - MCH super fan #1 for hosting and joining us as we take a DEEEEP dive into William Lustig's iconic slasher - Maniac. Starring the late great Joe Spinell, Caroline Munro, and the legend himself - Mr. Tom Savini.
Got a sexy one for you this week. 1977's Death Game by Peter S. Traynor. A story about two girls that show up on some guys door step to fuck shit up, but in the sexiest ways. Sorry about the end of the episode, not sure what happened there.
This week we sit down and check out Tobe Hooper's follow up to Texas Chainsaw Massacre - "Eaten Alive". released in 1976 starring Carolyn Jones, and Robert Englund. Judd is a deranged madman running a hotel next to a brothel that keeps a big ass crocodile that he feeds people to. Cool kill scenes, 70's boobs, good times.
Starting off the new year with an old classic. If you've been with us or, went back and found us on YouTube, this'll be a treat for you. MCH fans can think of this as PART 4 of our "HORROR-FEST" series. This week we sit down with another H.P Lovecraft banger - "From Beyond" - directed by Stuart Gordon in 1986 starring beloved Jeffery Combs, the amazing Barber Crampton, and low key horror icon, Ken Foree. This one is fucking great. Full of sexual overtones, melting bodies and eyeball sucking. Go and watch this one whenever you can, you will not be disappointed.
Drunk and more drunk. Rated PG and Mathias got ho-ho-hosed for the holiday. We dare you to try and get through the whole thing with us as we VERY drunkly try to walk through this years Christmas Horror banger - There's Something in the Barn. Merry Christmas, you filthy animals!
What a surprise for us, Australia's bootleg Thomas Jane, Mr. Dean Kirkright himself surprised joined us for our review of Sam Curtains latest awesomeness - Beaten to Death (2023). Hailed as a "non-stop nightmare" by Bloody Disgusting, Beaten is unsettling nightmare fuel. Shout out to Sam Curtain, Thomas Roach, and David Tracy for chilling us to the bone!
Round 2 of Sam Curtain awesomeness. This week we review Sam's 2020 sophomore project - The Slaughterhouse Killer, starring a familiar face - Dean Kirkright, but also introducing us to a few new faces - James Mason as Nathan, Kristen Condon as Tracy, and stealer of the show - Craig Ingham as Box. This one is great. All the Sam Curtain terror we're falling in love with, mixed with a great plot and weird boding of new friends. Check it out for sure!!
