Eternals REVISITED - Marvel Movie Marathon

This week on Multiverse Monologues, the Marvel Movie Marathon marches on through 2021 with Eternals. Ben, Ethan, and Micah return to unpack one of the MCU’s most cosmic and ambitious entries, diving into its ensemble cast, mythological scale, and Chloé Zhao’s bold attempt to reshape the Marvel universe. Eternals follows a group of immortal aliens—Sersi, Ikaris, Thena, and more—who reunite to protect humanity from the Deviants and uncover the truth behind their mission. Despite high expectations, the film received mixed reviews and became the first MCU title to earn a “Rotten” score on Rotten Tomatoes.
