Mom wanted to do a cult classic from the year she graduated high school, in honor of her 50th reunion. And oh boy, I found a doozy for her. We watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We had a theme meal of smoked sausage and egg noodles (my personal favorite). We spent a lot of time going over the facts, the rumors and the money. What an interesting tale!Mom and I sat down for a midnight movie and watched Batman (1989). Michael Keaton is my personal favorite Batman. We had a lovely omelette breakfast and talked trivia and local events. Mom and I suited up and watched Ghostbusters. We had a lovely Stir-fry theme meal and talked Ivan Reitman, Bill Murray and trivia. Mom and I sat down and watched a film, like Mom has never seen before: foreign and nearly silent. We watched 1932's Vampyr. The Criterion cut we watched was comprised of bits and pieces from the German and French releases. The English release has been lost to time. There was no food in this movie, so we just had a nice diner breakfast. We talked vampire lore, vampire film history then made fun of JD Vance a little. All in all, a good session. We hope you enjoy this one. EPISODE 62: TERMINATOR 2 JUDGEMENT DAY

Mom and I sat down and watched one of her favorites, Ace Ventura Pet Detective. We had a yummy stadium food themed meal of hot dogs and tater tots. We talked trivia, what the director was up to, the presidential debate, women's healthcare in America and how I learned how to ride a bike-it was the 80s, so you know it was a traumatic event.EPISODE 60: MAD MAX FURY ROAD
Mom and I sat down and watched Mad Max Fury Road. We had large, beautiful salads as our theme meal, in reference to the lush greenery at the Citadel. We talked George Miller and trivia then slipped into how the present is its own dystopian hellscape in need of a reboot.
