Notas del episodio
This week, we’re joined by Daniela Inés Calvo, a bilingual stand-up comedian raised in Miami and Argentina, now based in Los Angeles. Daniela began performing at 19 and has since brought her comedy to stages across LA and Miami. She is also the producer of the regular stand-up show en español at The World Famous Comedy Store, where she co-headlines with Francisco Ramos and features surprise guests.
In this episode, Arianna sits down with Daniela to discuss carving out space for comedy in español, the intersections of culture and humor, and the power of creating community through laughter
Join us on October 12 for a historic night at the Comedy Store Main Room: “Francisco y Daniela presentan: Comedia en Español,” opening doors for comedians in Los Angeles to perform in Spanish.
