We will look at the structures of the shows and the impact of minority representation. Understanding whether the minority presence is performative or an essential part of these narratives.
We will look at the framework of the white savior complex. I analyze the presence of the white savior complex and how it exists within the interactions of minority youth.
This episode will explore the current representations of minority youth. We will look at how these frameworks are presented in the different programs.
This episode will set a foundation for understanding the Italian television landscape. Alongside this, I will frame the minority youths and talk about the methodologies that I used to conduct this case study.
