Have you ever thought of what kind of example you are? Every day, people are watching us, our children, our co-workers, our bosses. What do our lives say about our Christian walk? The Bible is full of calls to imitate. Ephesians tells us to be imitators of God, 1 Peter tells us that Christ left an example for us to follow in His steps, and in 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul calls us to imitate him, just as he is an imitator of Christ. So, are you living your life in a way, that would make others desire Jesus?
We live- in an age of immediate gratification, where waiting often feels unbearable. This impatience can even spill over into our prayer lives, where we find ourselves wanting quick answers, just to find that God’s timing doesn’t always line up with ours. Today on Ministering the Word, Pastor Dennis helps us to understand the many ways God answers prayers and why it’s so difficult at times to accept His timing.
