Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Maryland Weather Podcast — it's Sunday, February 22nd. Folks, the storm we've been tracking all week? It's here. And it means business. Right now you've got drizzle across most of the state, but that's about to flip. By mid-morning, rain mixes with snow. By this afternoon? All snow, heavy at times, with temps dropping fast. Tonight's when this storm really flexes — we're talking snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour in some spots. Winds howl out of the north, gusting to 40 miles an hour near the Bay. That's near-blizzard conditions, folks. Down in Baltimore, you'll see rain and snow mix this morning before flipping to all snow by afternoon. Expect 4 to 8 inches by Monday morning, with the heaviest snow between 7 PM and 3 AM. Winds gust to 33 miles an hour tonight. And temps drop from 37 degrees  ...
