Rose quartz, blankets and morning coffee
Things end up on the more relaxed side of things for Episode 5, as Angel, GJ, Troy and later Aira catch up and talk about a range of topics, from time zones, Christmas in our corners of the world to absolutely anything else in between. Expect a lot of laughter.
On Befores and Afters
For Episode 4, we take a closer look at the children that we were, and how we've grown up into the adults that we are (and trying to be) today. In between parenting, working overtime and juggling multiple creative endeavours, how much of the "adult-ing" phase has taken over you completely, and how much of your childhood has remained? Sometimes, all you need is a true friend, a Zoom call and a bit of laughter to find out the answer.
#Tampo! How do you deal with conflict?
This week's episode took a bit longer than normal to be recorded, for reasons we will be discussing in our third episode, where we talk about how stories of arguments and tampuhan within our friendship group. We also talk about how we feel other kinds of conflict between friends should be dealt with, from knowing how to apologise and knowing how to express your feelings properly to one another.
How do you maintain adult friendship?
Adult friendship. What a concept, eh? In our second episode, we talk about how being countries apart, work, family and other important life commitments affect our relationships with one another, and discuss the things we can do to maintain our friendships as we get older.
Aira, GJ, Troy & Angel
Welcome to the very first episode of Long Distance Friendship! In our debut and first ever Zoom call, we introduce one another and talk about just how our friendship started, all the way back in the year 2003. As we reminisce through our relationships with one another from childhood all the way to adulthood, we discuss and give tips on the responsibility and the maturity that is necessary in order to keep friendship alive and healthy.
