David returns from slaying Goliath as the conquering hero. As the people of Israel pour into the streets, singing songs of David's praise, Saul becomes enraged. He repeatedly tries to kill David in his own household, set's up his daughter as a trap, and sends the young warrior on an impossible mission. Yet, David once again returns victorious as Yahweh preserves the young man He has anointed as King.
