Kerre was diagnosed with Wilson's Disease in her 40s. Wilson's Disease is where the liver cannot disintegrate copper and copper builds up in the liver, making it potentially fatal. Kerre received her liver transplant just 6 months after being diagnosed with Wilson's Disease.
