Luke: To the Least, the Last, & the Lost - Luke 7.11-23

When life doesn’t unfold the way we prayed for, doubt can quickly creep in. John the Baptist knew Jesus was powerful, yet sitting in prison left him wondering if Jesus really was the Messiah after all. In Luke 7:18-23, Jesus doesn’t shame John for struggling. He points him back to the evidence of His kingdom and says, “Blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” Doubt grows when we judge God by our expectations instead of His promises.
