In this episode I spend about 10 minutes talking to the head coaches of Chillicothe, Mid-Buchanan, Gallatin, and South Harrison. Each coach discusses the season and this weekend's games at the Missouri State Softball Championships in Springfield.
Tony Osburn
Tony Osburn is a guard at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Osburn played his high school backetball at Mound City where he scored 3,081 points and averaged 35.5 points per game, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists as a senior. Osburn had his best season at Omaha last year, where he played 27 minutes per game and averaged 13 points per game.
Chris Roush
Chris Roush isn't just the KQ2 News Director as someone who came up covering sports. Roush has spent almost his entire career at the station. Roush discusses his start and how he's grown as an individual and his new role as news director.
Colin McQuillan
Colin McQuillan enters his third season at Missouri Western as the special teams coordinator and working with the outside linebackers. He also oversees the Griffon Football social media presence and team camps.In his first two seasons as special teams coordinator, McQuillan has coached multiple specialists to All-MIAA honors.
Wade Bryson
Wade Bryson is head coach of the North Andrew Cardinals basketball team. Bryson has over 200 career wins, 7 district titles, and 3 Final Four Appearances.
Chuck Davis
Chuck Davis is the head coach at Bishop LeBlond High School. Davis has won 39 games, two district titles, and finished second in state in 2022. The Eagles head coach talks about coaching, family, and more.
