Drive south a few hours to Wichita and you'll find 26 degrees. That feels downright tropical by comparison. Western Kansas splits the difference at 19 degrees. Here's the deal for today. Northeast Kansas stays dangerously cold with a slight chance of light snow. South Central Kansas crawls toward freezing by afternoon, but the wind keeps it feeling sharp. Western Kansas?
