In this episode of Jesus Talk with Tay, we dive into Psalm 13 and explore the grace of lament—what it looks like to bring our pain, questions, and emotions honestly before God without losing our trust in Him. Through David’s prayer, we’ll walk through four movements of lament: turn to God, complain to God, ask of God, and trust in God. Lament gives us permission to be honest with God while reminding us that our pain doesn’t have to be the end of the story. In Part 2 of Tay’s testimony on Jesus Talk with Tay, the story continues with some of the most significant seasons of his life: becoming a father, walking through the consequences of sin, losing his grandfather, getting married, and being called into ministry. Throughout it all, one theme keeps coming back: God’s grace is enough. Tay reflects on how the Lord has worked through both the joyful and difficult seasons of his life, and how the local church has been a pillar through fatherhood, loss, marriage, and ministry.
