Notas del episodio
In this episode of It’s More Than a Game, we break down what real development looks like — from competing against older players, to building trust, to creating environments where growth actually happens.
This conversation goes deeper than basketball.
We talk about: • why failure is necessary for growth
• how playing up accelerates development
• what coaches and parents get wrong
• how trust and relationships drive player buy-in
• why most players plateau
• the reality of college basketball opportunities
• and how to actually prepare athletes for the next level
We also introduce our upcoming Evaluation Camp (July 25) — designed to help players understand what it truly takes to compete at the next level.
It’s More Than a Game is powered by Elite Fit Connect — the digital platform designed to free coaches from admin headaches so they can focus on developing players and building real legacies.
