DT, as he's otherwise known, is a Retired US Air Force Senior Master Sergeant who spent twenty years as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Operator, an arm of the Air Force Special Warfare battery. While deployed earlier in his career, DT was wounded and sustained burns covering most of his body. He would spend 4 months in a coma recovering. With his family ceaselessly sticking beside him, he was able to return to Active Duty status and carry out his career until retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month and DT is quite the person to listen to when it comes to understanding resiliency, seeking help, breaking stigmas, and coming out on top! "Beyond The Pokedex: Mysteries of The Missing 411"

Welcome back to another captivating episode of "I Came With Fire Podcast"! In this episode we are taking you down a pretty gnarly rabbit hole: The Missing 411. Popularized and coined by David Paulides, The Missing 411 chronicles some odd and downright scary disappearances inside of North America's National Parks and highlights a potential conspiracy in covering up these disappearances and their culprit(s). Tonight's episode begins with Mr. Paulides' venture "The CANAM Project". Named for the nations of Canada and the United States, The CANAM Project seeks to shed light on these disappearances plaguing National Parks within the respective nations. David was first approached about these disappearances by a Park Ranger, who gave him a list of incidents and told him about how the National Park Service was allegedly covering up these disappearances. Seeking to get to the bottom of the problem, David submitted multiple "Freedom Of Information Act" (FOIA) requests but was met with refusals and demands for insurmountable sums of money for the information he was requesting. Tonight, we go over just a few of these eerie disappearances and tell you about why they are so creepy and mysterious. First, there are some odd themes between quite a few of these cases: for many of these disappearances, dog teams are called in to search but are unable to pick up the scents of the missing or lead Search and Rescue (SAR) teams to locations that make no sense. In one case, a set of dogs led SAR teams to a cliff face. Thinking these dogs made a mistake, the SAR team brought in another set of dogs who repeated the actions of the first...leading them to a sheer cliff face. Another theme is that when someone's remains or belongings are found, they are typically found in an area already covered by SAR teams. Furthermore, these remains or belongings are found seemingly placed in manners as if the missing person simply set their items down and wandered away into nothingness. In a wide range of those who's remains are found, the same type of bodily remains are recovered. The skull caps and teeth are left behind. What is causing these odd disappearances? Why is there seemingly a conspiracy to hide information about these missing persons? Why do many of these people go missing mere feet from their camping/hiking groups? And why are some National Park Rangers claiming they're encouraged to dissuade search efforts for the missing? "Do What Makes You Happy" with Dan Schilling, US Army/Air Force Special Operations Officer & Author

Dan Schilling is absolutely what you would call a Renaissance Man. One of his mantras is "Reinvent Yourself"--and that is exactly what Dan does. You see, Dan is no ordinary person, at least to us (and thousands of others). At the beginning of his 30 year military career, Dan made the choice to join the US Army as an Infantryman. He then found out how cool "Pro Pay" was, along with just how much of a badass you get to be as an Air Force Special Operations Combat Controller, and then made the best decision of his life: to switch branches and join the US Air Force. Dan made it through the rigorous Combat Controller pipe-line and came out on the other side ready to take on the world. All that aside, Dan is one of the most humble and down to Earth people we've ever talked to. His words are rife with wisdom, intelligence, and humor. Have you ever seen the movie "Black Hawk Down"? A lot of people have. Long story short, it chronicles the men on Operation Gothic Serpent, where multiple Black Hawk helicopters were downed in the Somalian city of Mogadishu, and a daring operation to tag a violent warlord became a thing of legend. Dan was there, as a US Air Force Special Tactics Officer (Combat Controller). And NO ONE on the field of battle, since the beginning of human warfare, is more lethal than a US Air Force Combat Controller. Dan has also stood up multiple Special Operations Squadrons, commanded them, and retired as Lieutenant Colonel. This snapshot of Dan's military career, as he would say, are just "things I did, not who I am". After reading a couple of his books and spending two hours talking with him, its easy to see what he means. As you may have guessed, Dan is also an author--and a damn good one. His most acclaimed book is "Alone At Dawn: Medal of Honor Recipient John Chapman and the Untold Story of the World's Deadliest Special Operations Force", a book detailing the life of Air Force Master Sergeant (MSgt) John Chapman, Medal of Honor Recipient and Hero and also the tale of the most unsung Special Operators ever. When Dan isn't absolutely hauling ass down the side of a mountain wearing a pair of skis and a parachute, he spends his time helping the military community understand what resilience looks like, is working on a screenplay, working towards making a movie about MSgt John Chapman, and coming on podcasts with a couple Air Force dudes (us, of course). Yes, you read that right too...skis and a parachute. Apparently, for Dan, sky-diving is too boring now. I guess when you're the World Record Holder for most base jumps, that makes sense. Dan won't admit it, but he is a giant amongst men and we will be forever grateful he decided to spend a couple hours talking to us on this episode. Georgia Guidestones- "Roadmap to Apocalypse"

Purported to be a monument with a message of harmony and peace left for future generations, the Guidestones have only engendered questions and, in some, fear.Commissioned by a mysterious stranger going only by the pseudonym "Robert C. Christian", the Guidestones would become the center of massive amounts of speculation, mystery, and sinister conspiracy. With alleged ties to secret societies, some with origins rooted in Ancient Babylon and Egypt, the Guidestones list 10 "guidelines", written in 8 languages, meant to aid humanity in balancing its presence with nature and the infinite. Oddly enough, among the list of languages on the monument is "Cuneiform"--a dead language used by the people of Ancient Sumer and no longer used today.Some of the guidelines seem fairly harmless and even suggest logical solutions to real problems, such as "Avoid petty laws and useless officials." On the surface, one can acknowledge that justice is essential to a free society and who likes nonsensical laws and bureaucrats?
