Kildare native Sean O'Haire grew up playing GAA, and after attending a Leader Kicking session on a whim, ended up playing college football at the University of Richmond before transferring to Maryland.

In his first season there he connected on a 49 yard Field Goal and was selected first team All Conference in the Big 10, a massive honour and sign of things to come.
