”Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever.“ Psalms 146:3-6 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.146.3-5.NIV
”The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.“ Psalms 145:18-19 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.145.18-19.NIV
”Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you.“ Psalms 143:2 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.143.2.NIV ”Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.“ Psalms 143:8 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.143.8.NIV
”When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me. Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.“ Psalms 142:3-4 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.142.4.NIV
”Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness; let him rebuke me—that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.“ Psalms 141:5 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.141.5.NIV ”Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.“ Proverbs 9:8 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.9.8.NIV ”Smite a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.“ Proverbs 19:25 ASV https://bible.com/bible/12/pro.19.25.ASV
”Rescue me, Lord, from evildoers; protect me from the violent, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips.“ Psalms 140:1-3 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.140.1-3.NIV
”Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.“ Psalms 139:7-8 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.139.7-8.NIV
”Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.“ Psalms 138:6-7 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.138.6-7.NIV
”Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. “Tear it down,” they cried, “tear it down to its foundations!” Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us. Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.“ Psalms 137:7-9 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.137.7-9.NIV https://www.biblestudytools.com/psalms/137.html
”Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of Lords: His love endures forever.“ Psalms 136:1-3 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.136.1-3.NIV
