• An X 4.05 flare from region 4274 occurred at 8:30 utc today. There was an M 1.8 class long duration flare which occurred just about an hour earlier at 7:39 utc from 4274 which created a stronger and more rapid flare for the X 4.05.
• A minor radiation storm is in progress.
• A coronal mass ejection was produced yet it is more westerly, but we could get some Earth directed components. All this is under modeling right now to see what our Earth may experience.
• The X 4.05 did produce a R3 radio blackout over Madagascar.
• Solar activity is much higher than the day before.
