The Abomination of Desolation - Let Him Understand
IA
The Abomination of Desolation — Let Him Understand By Zeres Vitto Verse I — Babylon When Israel turned to rising suns And cast the truth aside, The Sabbath lay forgotten then, The covenant denied. The glory left the temple courts And lingered on the hill, Then Babylon brought desolation— Fulfilling Heaven’s will. Chorus Watch and understand the signs, The pattern stays the same; When men forsake God’s holy law, Destruction surely came. Let him understand the call, When final signs appear; Arise and flee to Christ alone, Our refuge ever near. Verse II — Christ’s Day The temple filled with trade and gain, Yet void of heaven’s light, They would not hear the Living Word, Nor walk in truth and right. They sought to slay the Son of God, The Truth they would not see— “Your house is left unto you desolate,” He spoke in agony. Verse III — Rome (70 AD) When Roman armies filled the land And compassed every side, The faithful saw the promised sign And quickly fled to hide. Not one who trusted perished then, They followed Heaven’s word; For Rome brought desolation forth, As Christ had clearly warned. Verse IV — The Continuing Abomination A power rose in sacred form, Yet claimed what Christ alone Has kept within the courts above— His ministry, His throne. The truth cast down, God’s law obscured By human rule and creed; A desolation fell— But not the last the world would see. Verse V — The Final Test As once the armies marked the time For saints of God to flee, So laws enforced on worship now Mark earth’s final decree. God’s holy law is cast aside, His Sabbath truth denied; When Sunday rest is forced by law, Then truth and error divide. Bridge — The Final Desolation When every soul has made its choice, No intercessor pleads— As once He left the temple courts, So Christ will cease to plead. No voice of mercy intercedes For those who would not heed, And plagues descend in judgment swift Upon a world in need. The temple filled—no priest remains, No intercessor stands; And justice falls unmixed with grace Across the impenitent lands. The same rejection seen before Now reaches to its end— The final desolation falls On all who would not bend. Final Verse — The Call Whoso reads, now understand The warning from above; The final test will try the heart, Revealing faith and love. Keep holy what the Lord has blessed, Stand faithful through the strife; The abomination stands—will you Stand with God’s command? Final Chorus Watch and understand the sign When it appears in view; Discern the false, reject the lie, Be faithful, firm, and true. Obey the voice of God alone, Stand fast in His command; That you may stand when final desolation Falls across the land.
Six Thousand Years Are Near Complete
IA
Inspired by the discussions surrounding the nearness of Christ's return and the approaching completion of the six-thousand-year period of sin's history, I wrote this song. I believe that Christ's coming is near and that the long-awaited millennium is drawing close. While we do not know the exact day or hour of His return, Scripture teaches that we should recognize when it is near. I appreciate Pastor Andrew Henriques's use of biblical typologies—particularly those of Lazarus' four days in the grave and the Good Samaritan's two pence—in pointing us to the nearness of the time. Whether one agrees with these interpretations or not, they remind us of an important truth: Jesus is coming again. Rather than creating controversy, let us focus on preparing our own hearts and helping others prepare as well. May we watch, pray, work, and remain faithful until our Lord appears in the clouds. Six Thousand Years Are Near Complete By Zeres Vitto Verse 1 Four thousand years the promise stood, Since Eden's gate was closed by sin; The Seed foretold in mercy's word Would crush the serpent's head at last. The race grew weak through ages long, Yet heaven kept the covenant sure; Then in the fullness of God's time, The Savior came to dwell with men. Chorus Six thousand years are near complete, The signs proclaim His coming near; The One who promised, "I will come," Will soon be seen upon the clouds. We know not day, we know not hour, The Father keeps that secret still; Yet every promise points us home, Till end-time prophecies fulfilled. Verse 2 At Bethany a brother slept, Four days within the silent grave; Yet Christ delayed, then called him forth, And death released its captive prey. So four thousand years beneath sin's curse, Had passed before the Savior came; The Life-Giver came to our world, To call the lost from death to life. Verse 3 A traveler lay beside the road, Wounded and left to surely die; The Good Samaritan drew near, With healing mercy in His hands. He bound his wounds with oil and wine, Restoring life where hope had fled; He paid two coins till He returns, Two days with God, two thousand years. Bridge A day with God—a thousand years, So Peter by the Spirit wrote; And many see within the type Two days of waiting for the King. Yet not by dates our faith shall stand, Nor by a time that man can know; But by His word and promised oath: "Behold, I come," the Savior said. Final Chorus Six thousand years are near complete, The signs proclaim His coming near; The One who promised, "I will come," Will soon be seen upon the clouds. Though day and hour remain concealed, His people need not walk in night; For truth shines brighter as we near Earth's thousand years of Sabbath rest. Outro Six thousand years near complete, The long rebellion soon shall cease; The kingdoms of this world shall fall, Before the Prince of Peace appears. Then earth shall keep her Sabbath rest, A thousand years in silence lie; While saints with Christ review the books, Awaiting sin's eternal end.
Hear the Shepherd’s Voice
IA
Hear the Shepherd’s Voice "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." — John 10:27 By Zeres Vitto Verse 1 Through the noise of a restless world, Through the shadows where many roam, There is still a voice of mercy, Calling every wanderer home. Some have walked with Him for years, Some still search through doubt and fear, Yet the Shepherd still is calling, Every willing soul to hear. Chorus Hear the Shepherd’s voice today, While the door of mercy stays open; He still calls by name in love, To the weary and the broken. Whether near or far you've strayed, Whether strong in faith or searching, Jesus knows the path you've trod— Hear His voice and follow Him. Verse 2 Mary wept beside the tomb, Till He softly spoke her name; Then the darkness fled before her, And her sorrow turned to praise. Samuel heard the call at night, Learning how to know God's voice; Still the Shepherd calls His children, Still He bids the heart rejoice. Chorus Hear the Shepherd’s voice today, While the door of mercy stays open; He still calls by name in love, To the weary and the broken. Whether near or far you've strayed, Whether strong in faith or searching, Jesus knows the path you've trod— Hear His voice and follow Him. Verse 3 Some are standing firm in truth, Holding fast through storm and trial; Some are seeking light and meaning, Walking one more weary mile. Some have never known His love, Never felt His gentle hand; Yet He searches every valley, That His lost ones may understand. Bridge Not by signs alone or might, But through Scripture’s living light; Through conviction, through His grace, Through the love shown on His face. When a thousand voices call, When deception fills the land, Blessed are the hearts that know The Shepherd’s voice and take His hand. Final Chorus Hear the Shepherd’s voice today, For the night is fast approaching; While He pleads within the courts above, His invitation still is open. For the Lamb who once was slain Soon shall come in power and glory; Blessed are the souls who hear And follow Him through earth’s last story. Outro He still calls— Will you answer? Will you follow? Will you come? #zeresvitto #heartheShepherdsVoice #everyone #gospealappeal
