The August 14 edition of SmackDown from Boston gave us major title changes, a personal CM Punk/Kevin Owens confrontation, Chelsea Green fighting to hold onto her championship, and a chaotic ending that stopped Cody Rhodes vs. Sami Zayn before it could even begin.
π€ But one of the biggest questions coming out of the show might be about what we didnβt see.
WWE reportedly cut five backstage segments that would have advanced multiple stories across the roster β which raises a pretty simple question: if those stories matter, why arenβt they making television?
